Central Vermont Medical Center offers a Phlebotomy Program for only $550 which includes course materials. This 40-hour program combines hands-on practical experience, clinical observation, laboratory, and a lecture series intended for developing the abilities required to work as an entry level phlebotomist in various medical facilities. The primary focus of this course is to impart the newest information to the aspiring phlebotomist on effective specimen collection, the appropriate equipment to use, blood collection techniques, and various phlebotomy skills that would promote patient care and enhance customer service.

Phlebotomy Training Specialists has a large network of phlebotomy training schools, with 83 locations across 35 states!

Their phlebotomy training course consists of in-class training (bookwork, hands-on training, and practical exam) with several day, evening, and weekend courses to fit any schedule. The course covers hands-on training and all the skill necessary to help you become a certified phlebotomy technician in the medical field. In fact, they boast a 92% pass rate for the national phlebotomy exam.

2. Must prove you are a high school graduate or equivalent
