Under this program, students are taught technical skills and information on how to properly and safely collect blood for medical analysis and testing. Students who want to take on a career in phlebotomy need to have a high school diploma in order to be admitted.

The program is a 14-week program which includes a total of 226 hour instruction. Students are required to attend 126 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of clinical practicum. The school starts in August and ends in January.
